 1) That I could check with the administration about going to Barbados for the last 2 years of the LLB at the end of first year

2) You do not need to go to lectures if you do not find them helpful

3) Tutorial and past paper questions are extremely beneficial for exam prep (if it is a new lecturer this may only be true for tutorial questions)

4) The study technique you used in high school/first degree may not work so be open to new techniques

5) Balance is very important. Fit fun stress relieving activities into your schedule even weeks leading up to final exams
