Here are five things I wish I knew before starting law school:

1. That tutorials are very important. Preparing for them and doing so thoroughly will make it easier to study for your exams.

2. You have to have some fun in between all the book work.

3. Close relationships with your lecturers and tutors is very important.

4. Ensure that you have a plan as to how your fees will be paid to avoid any unwanted financial issues with the institution. It won't always work out how u planned it but try your best to have A plan a and B in place for your fees.

5. Make the library your best friend especially where you do not have the resources to purchase the text books that are essential. Ensure you take the time out to make it a priority to get the texts from the library that will assist you in completing your tutorial assignments. They might be limited and it's just first come first served. There is no important material that working closely with the librarian cant help to provide. Make them your friends too.
